MADISON, Wis. - Tyler Donovan threw for one touchdown and scrambled for another as Wisconsin held off a fourth-quarter Michigan rally for 37-21 victory to snap the Wolverines’ eight-game winning streak.
The Badgers (8-3, 4-3 Big Ten) didn’t eliminate the Wolverines (8-3, 6-1) from the Big Ten title race, but they have to beat Ohio State next week.
Michigan played without injured running back Mike Hart, and after Chad Henne broke John Navarre’s school record for yards passing, Ryan Mallett relieved the ailing starting quarterback in the first quarter.
